Charities Supported

In 2002, the Orchestra Committee decided to enlist the support of the Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent for our Christmas concert.  Realising that this very worthy charity has an enormous local following, it was felt that we could work together to hopefully attract a much larger audience, at the same time raising much needed funds for the charity.

This proved to be a great success and as a result, we have subsequently partnered up with other charities to similarly promote our respective causes. The orchestra has benefited by having increased audiences and the charities that we have supported over the years have all benefited from additional donations that we've been able to raise for them.
